The annual Children's Christmas Party was held at the Civil Service Cricket Club, Happy Valley, yester- day, when Mrs. Sayer, wife of Mr. G. R. Sayer, the Director of Educa- tion, distributed the prizes.
Speaking on behalf of his wife. Mr. G. R. Sayer, the Director of Education, thanked the Committee for inviting his wife to present the prizes. On behalf of the Committee Denkin. he thunked Mesdames Alderman and Purvis for their great assistance in choosing the Thanks gifts for the children, were also expressed, on behalf of the Whist Drive Committee, to Meadames Eccleshall, Alderman and Jones, for thoir, services.
