MUCH disappointment is being felt in soccer
circles over the postponement of the premier League encounter between the Royal Welch Fusi- liers and the Chinese Athletic to-morrow, as next week's encounter between the new regiment and St. Joseph's is hardly likely to produce a test for the former or give any possible indication of
their true form.
To-day's big soccer attraction will be the clash between the much augmented Royal Navy eleven and the Club de Recreio, which takes place on the Kowloon ground.
Lancs
To-morrow the East come in from Camp to play South China "B," and an exciting strug- gle should ensue. In the third Division the East Lancs meet thei Medical Corps and as both teams are fairly evenly balanced, the encounter should produce keen football.
Owing to the Volunteer Camp and the arrival of the new Regi- ment, the Club, Kowloon, and the Borderers have postponed their fixtures for this week-end.

A few months back our Rugby law-makers tackled a scrummage problem.
When they had finished they sat back satisfied and announced to the world that they had created a new law, which meant that when the ball is put into a scrum mage it can be hooked only by the
