The head of the Aviation Bureau, according to the same report, has been detallied at Nan- chang for about two weeks as a result of the destruction by fire of some 50 military aeroplanes at the aerodrome there. It was charged that General Hsu Pei- kan was responsible for the loss of the bombers and fighters.; when there was an auditing of the accounts of the money spent on aeroplanes and the number of machines in the air force.
