$41,903 TO BE VOTED

Supplementary expenditure items amounting to a total of $41,903.00 will be presented at the Finance Committee meeting which is to take place to-morrow, following the Legislative Council meeting.

Under the heading of Miscel- laneous Services, un item off $31.533.00 ls to be voted for the loss, through defalcation, of dyna mite, detonators and fuse at the Government Gunpowder Depot at Green Island, discovered in Novem- ber last. As these explosives were the property of various flrms, come pensation to the above amount was; paid and a supplementary vote for this sum is required.
