Seth, Mancell, and McLure, the latter of whom died on July 3 from heat stroke, were made in the course of proceedings at the British Court when it was stated that investigations of his affairs revealed that his holding of shares in the Shanghai Electric Constraction Co. Ltd., on behalf of the International Investment Trust Company and the Yangtse Finance Company, showed a shortage of 16,350 shares.

Counsel, on behalf of the International Investment Trust Co. and the Yangtse Finance Co., told the Court that there was reason to be- lieve that the securities had been dealt with by the deceased for his own account.
