Mr. E. B. Reed, of No. 154, ' Government Quarters, The Peak, was injured early yesterday morn- ing when the motor-car in which with he was travelling collided the bank in Stubba Road. Mr. Reed was taken to the French Hos- pital, but his injuries are not ser- Joua.

A report of the accident, which occurred at 3:40 am. yesterday. |was subsequently made to the Po- lice by Mr. J. W. Alabaster of 10, Peak Mansions.
Mr. Alabaster informed the Po- lice that he was driving motor car |No. 1783 up Stubbs Road with Mr. Reed AЯ his passenger. When about a quarter of a mile beyond ' the Hong Kong Hotel Garage the car ran into the bank' on the side of the road.
Mr. Reed apparently struck his Lace against the windscreen, as he (received severe injuries to his jaw. He was immediately tåken to the French Hospital for treatment.
