Impressive March Past By Troops.
Representative of the Navy and Military units and all other bodies took part in the King's Birthday parade and review at Statue Square this morning. A long co- lumn, extending nearly two miles long, marched past His Excellency the Governor, Sir William Peel, K.C.M.G., K.B.E, who took the salute at the foot of the Cenotaph.
The troops presented a colour- ful spectacle as they paraded past to continue their ceremonial march through the city. Thou- sands of Europeans and Chinese lined the streets to secure glimpse of the troops.
