The Fact that the Victoria Re- creation Club had been offically recognised as the controlling body of competitive swimming in the Colony by the Shanghai Amateur

·Swimming Association was dis- closed at the annual general meet- ing of the V.R.C. yesterday.

Mr. W. Logan, who presided, referred to the rivalry and opin sition which the V.R.C. had ex- perienced during the past year! by others in the Colony who sought to take away the privilegej of controlling swimming in Hong Kong, which had been the proud hoast of fire V.R.. for so many years. The Club, he said, were only too ready to hand over th control to any Club whom they!
