PIRACY NEAR.
Junk Boarded Near
Fu Tau-mun.
THOUGHT TO BE WORK OF BIAS BAY GANG
Another piracy occurred off Fu Tau-mun yesterday, according to Chu Fat-cheung, the master of a fishing junk, who reported that six men boarded his boat in the early morning and, after af search, took away the only valu able article on board, a black box, In a statement to the Press, Chief detective Inspector Shannon said: that the piracy was apparently committed by the same men who were concerned in the looting of the fiabing junk on Sunday last.
Raiders are active near the border of British waters and are suspected to come from Ping Hol. near Blas Bay, the pirate centre, which is only four hours safl from British waters.
Piracies of this kind, of which no reports are received in Hong Kong, are very frequent in Chinese waters.
The men are armed with rifles and wear maska of black cloth over their faces, with slits for the eyes.
