It re quires about & honour, tricks when vulnerable, and all four suits stopped.

This bid demands a guise on slightly better than 1 honour trick, and take-out with a five or six card biddable suit always provided there is 1 honour trick in hand.

Opening Three No-trump This bid is made on handa con- taining at least eight sure tricks in honours, with all auits stopped and no biddable auft.

The difference between openin bids of one and two, and opening bids of three and four, is that one and two bids require adequate trump support from partner, while three and four bids guarantee atį least five sure trump tricks.
