The first successful crossing of the South Atlantic by a plane which refueled in the middle of the ocean has been accomplished by Kramer Van Clausbruch and criw of three, in the German flying-bost Monsun. The pisture shows how fuel was supplied the plane by the steamship Westfalen. The Monsun anchored near the vessel and remained there overnight before completing the crossing from Bathurst, British New Guinea, to Natal, Brazil, in 16 hours, 5 minutes.
