Sensational evidence was given by a Russian, formerly an em ployee of Metropolitan Vickers, when the trial of the six British en- gineers, Messrs. Alan Menkhouse, Nordwall, J. Cushny, W. H. Mac- donald, W. Thornton and C. Gregory, on charges of military and poli- |tical espionage, sabotage and bribery was continued in the Trader'

The afternoon's proceedings were concentrated upon the al- leged activities of Macdonald and Thornton, and Macdonald, who pleaded guilty" to the charges. appeared worn out and ill when the Court adjourned.
The massive indictment, which was rend to the prisoners when the proceedings commenced yesterday morning, was denied by the others.
