ESCAPE FROM
SUN WAI CAMP
Were Prisoners Of Lincoln Regt.
POLICE AID IN SEARCH
Two soldiers, Pte. Stanley Victor Poole, and Pie. Sidney Staines, of the Lincoln Regiment, escaped from military custody at Sun Wai Camp at eight o'clock last night.
They had been under arrest by the military authorities, and were being detained at the camp tem porarily.
Both men are only nineteen years 01 age. 1..e fact that they have escoped has been reported to the police who are assisting the mili tary police in their search for the missing men.
The direction in which the es- coped prisoners have gone is not known at present, but it is expect- ed that they will make for Kowloon. All roads and ferries are watched by the police.
