109. Buildings under construction include:
(1) A ten-storey block at Causeway Bay, containing three Magistrate's Courts, a Juvenile Court and Government Offices (Messrs. Palmer & Turner);
(2) A six-storey block at the junction of Castle Peak and Tai Po Roads, containing four Magistrate's Courts, a Juvenile Court and Government Offices (Messrs. Palmer & Turner);
(3) A two-storey Magistracy containing two Magistrate's Courts and Offices at Fan Ling (Messrs. Palmer & Turner);
(4) A nine-storey Polyclinic at Sai Ying Pun (Messrs. Leigh & Orange);
(5) A sixteen-storey block of Quarters in Green Lane containing 60 flats for married Police Inspectors (Messrs. Spence, Robinson & Partners);
(6) A small dispensary with a six-bed maternity ward at Sha Tau Kok (Messrs. Spence, Robinson & Partners);
(7) New Laboratories and Workshops at the Technical College, Kowloon (Mr. W. Szeto);
(8) A new Hangar and Stores at the Aircraft Maintenance Depot, Kai Tak (Mr. C. K. Larard);
(9) Site formation works for Shek Kip Mei Police Station and Resettlement Estate Staff Quarters (Mr. Robert Fan);
(10) Additional training facilities in the C.A.S. Training Ground, Kowloon (Mr. D. S. Phelps).
110. Working drawings were completed and tenders called for the erection of the following buildings:
(1) A twenty-four-classroom primary school at Blake Gardens (Messrs. T. C. Yuen & Co.);
(2) Two blocks, each containing six Quarters, to replace R.A.F. facilities at Kai Tak removed to permit the extension of Prince Edward Road (Mr. N. J. Chien);
(3) A block containing Offices and 14 Quarters for Resettlement Estate Staff at Li Cheng Uk (Professor W. G. Gregory).
111. Projects for which either working drawings or sketch plans were in hand include:
(1) Five new primary schools, each of thirty classrooms, two in Central District (Mr. W. H. Kwan), one in Canal Road East (Mr. Y. O. Lee), one in Hennessy Road (Mr. Fairfone Wong), and one in Western District (Mr. A. H. Basto);
(2) A new primary school of twenty-four classrooms in Queen's Road East (Mr. N. J. Chien);
(3) Extensions to primary schools at Pok Fu Lam (Messrs. Chau & Lee), at North Point (Messrs. Leigh & Orange), and to Kowloon Junior School (Messrs. Palmer & Turner);
(4) Two new secondary schools: Belilios Public School (Hsin Yieh Architects and Associates) and Clementi Middle School (Messrs. Kwan, Chu & Yang);
(5) A new Secondary Technical School in Kowloon (Mr. W. Szeto);
(6) Extensions to Ho Tung Girls' Secondary Technical School (Professor J. S. L. Woo);
