Paris. Proposals for an air line from Paris to China, so that mail from Paris may reach Hong Kong and Canton within 10 or 12 days are now on foot. They follow the latest extension of the Paris-Marseilles-Saigon air line to Hanoi, Capital of Tonkin.

This linking up of east and west is the outcome of a long visit of M. Nogues and M. Briend, of the Air Orient managers company, to Indo China. Nogues made three pioneer lehts between Saigon and Hanoi, with a halfway stop at Lak Sao, 2,100 feet up among the forests.

Wireless stations have been erected at

Hanoi, Vinh, and Lake Sao for, the information of pilots, and the line was officially in augurated on November 20.
