married quarters, a twenty-four-classroom primary school and a medical clinic. The quarters are planned in five connected 11-storey blocks. The plan provides a series of staircases each giving access to two self-contained quarters per floor, connected horizontally at the 7th floor by a continuous access balcony which is served by lifts direct from ground floor level.
45. Sketch plans were approved, and tenders for site formation invited, for a similar scheme at Tin Kwong Road in Kowloon for some 700 married quarters and a primary school.
46. Progress on yet another similar scheme at North Point has been delayed through the site not yet being available.
Police Stations, Posts, and Offices
47. A Police Radio Repeater Station was constructed at Tate's Cairn, one of the mountains overlooking the Airport. Tenders have been invited for a police post at Rennies Mill Camp, Junk Bay,
48. Working drawings were completed for additional quarters at two New Territories police stations at Sheung Shui and Tai Po, and for temporary offices on Stage III of the Central Reclamation to house the Police Traffic and Immigration Departments.
Police Training School, Aberdeen
49. Preliminary sketch plans were prepared for the redevelopment of a large and comprehensive police training school at Aberdeen. The scheme includes quarters, offices and full training facilities for the Police Force.
FIRE BRIGADE
50. Working drawings were completed for two standard three-bay fire stations at Aberdeen and Lai Chi Kok, and drawings are in progress for a third at Kwun Tong. The Construction of additional barrack accommodation for firemen is in progress at the Shek Wu Hui Fire Station in the New Territories.

Victoria Prison Quarters
51. The reconstruction of these quarters at Arbuthnot Road has been completed and provides one building with sixteen 2- and 3-bedroom flats for prison officers; a second building with 42 one-room married quarters for warders, each with its own balcony, kitchen and toilet;
