Besides being a footballer and cricketer, Ricketts has had the distinction of representing England at Lacrosse against the American Universities in America. He played in goal for the British team which only, lost two out of fifteen games. He is also

Inspired by such a leader the Recreio were promoted to the First Divi- sion and in the 1926-7 season reg:8- tered their one and only success in this division when they carried off the Shield by a comfortable mar- gin, Gosano being in no small way responsible for their amazing ad-| vanee-two championships in three seasons.
