Furniture

It took me some time to get over my prejudice against legless furni- ture, but I have now grown rather to like it, and bave the greatest respect for a certain table that holds my reading-lamp. It consists of two round tiers of wood, one about a foot above the other, held together by a single length of malleable wood, which resta upon a foot made from four converging pieces. There is something very graceful in the line' of the support, and something com- forthing in the sturdy way the table stands.
