are
now
hot
Tavourites for the premier League Championship, especially in view of the Villa's lapse since their defeat at the hands of the Thrustics. To-morrow the Highbury "wonder team" are entertaining Chelsca in a "derby" game which should be witnessed by a capacity crowd. The Pensioners beat the League Cham- plons last week, but they will find in David Jack, Alex James, Hulme, Coleman and Bastin one of the finest forward lins in England, and it will
come as no surprise to hear of a smashing defeat.

HE most interesting gume in the Scottish League will be that between the Hearts and Aberdeen. Last week the Rangers lowered Aberdeen's coloura and they lost the leadership of the League.
This
week Aberdeen will be all out ́ ́to stave off the "rot”, that might set in with a'defeat at the hands of the Hearts. The home team should win, however, though the Heurts will be unable to overhaul the Rangers, who should win against Queen's Park, or shake off the at- tention of Motherwell, who should beat East Stirling.
