The Peak Tramway service was held up for nearly a quarter of an hour yesterday afternoon, through a Chinese man who strolled along the track from the Peak on his way to town. The incident occurred between May Road and Barker Road, and the 1.50 pm. tram from the Peak had to apply its emergency Brakes to avoid hitting the man. The up-going tram was simul- taneously held up.
