APPRECIATION
365. This report would be incomplete without grateful acknowledgement to my staff. Although the number of expatriate officers was less than the previous year, total expenditure was greater by $14,402,000, and this would not have been possible except for the unrelenting effort of all officers. To them I wish to express my sincere thanks for their loyal and conscientious service.
