in the schools, the C.B.A. have dis- covered in J. Sharpman, a useful goal keeper. He has no fear and possesses [a useful hit and kick. He will pru- bably be a permanent goalkeeper for the C.B.A. during the present season. L.Phillips is also a player with good prospects, but it is a pity that his elder brother, Ralph, cannot give his time to hockey, as he is playing football for Kowloon FC first eleven. The the C.B.A. have also found in J. E. Wilson a useful half-back, while M. Weill, who has been playing in the forward line, in past seasons, is being given a try. out in the defence. In this position he fared well on Tuesday against the Ger- man Club.

IN

. Beltrao, of the Incognitos, is giv- ing up hockey as he is devoting more time to football, playing at cen- tre-half for the St. Joseph's Club. Bel trao is a versatile, half-back, and has proved of great Assitance to the In- cognitos. Two years ago, Beltrao played in goal for the Club de Recreto, and last year figured at centre-half in the soccer field.

Dumours are current concerning the|

Kowloon Indians' Tennis Club's proposal to withdraw front the Mamak Tournament. From what can be gathered, it is learned that trouble has arisen over the playing of Capt, Gore! in goal for the R.A.M.C. Capt. Gore has registered with the K.I.T.C. but no material damage has been done as both teams have not played yet. Capt. Gore is a custodian of no mean ability, and gave outstanding displays in the Hoc- key Trials.
