NORWEGIAN BEER

IN COLONY

New Brand Finds Favour.

THE CHINA

One of the best known breweries in Norway is now shipping its pro- duct to Hong Kong through Messrs. Gande Price & Co, Ltd. local dis- tributors.. Maritorious awards won consistantly since 1875 to the present prove its popularity in Europe,

Established in: Oslo in 1859, the Frydenlunds. Bryggeri Brewing Company is the largest and most popular in Norway today.

Their popularity has been st tained through the superiority of their beer, made from the basic in- |gredienta; malted barley, yeast and hops by the simple processes of na- tural fermentation. The beer is wholesome and pleasant to the tasta. "

There are no chemical adulter ants added to the beer and the most modern machinery is employed in its manufacture.

Hygiene is the keynote of the company's success: Machinery has been installed in the plant that pre- vents the product from contamina- tion by handling. Préumatic tubes. have been built to carry the malt ed barley to the kiln and by similar means it is conveyed to the brow | house, „for conversion into worts. Bottling and storage is completed without the touch of a human hand.]

Norway offers in its crystal clear mountain streams, and its pure uncontaminated air the ideal essentials for brewing. Technical skill and scientific knowledge are added to these advantages, which enables the company to produce a bear that is second to none.
