London, To-day. A threat of revolu- tion is disturbing the Irish Free State and a sensational report that the de Valera Government contei- plates the arrest "of Mr. W. T. Cosgrave, leader of the opposi- tion and President of the Free State from 1922 to 1931, has aroused wild - speculations of a pos- sible revolt breaking out against the Be public administra tion.

War in the Far East, a great and devastating struggle, will in- evitably involve Japan and will prove the salvation of China, if the nation stands united and watches for its opportunity to heave off the yoke of oppression, declared Mr. Sun Fo, just before he left for Shanghai aboard the s.s. Empress of Canadà to-day. In an exclu sive interview with the "China Mail," the noted Chinese leader fore- casted a bitter struggle for mastery in Asia, and one which would eventually exhaust Japan.
