The collision occurred during a dense fog, and the minesweep er, H.M.S. Dundalk, was upon the submarine before any warn-b ing could be given. The Dun- dalk came athwart the H33 "and for a moment it appeared as if there would be a ferrible impact. The Dundalk, however, swung ] sharply and caught the 'submar- ine a glancing blow, stoving in several plates above the water-
