OFFICE NOTICE.
Information has been received from the Japanese Post Office that the Siberian maila held up by floods in Manchuria have now bean diverted from the Chinese Eastern Railway and forwarded by the Northern Route to Vladivostock. They will arrive in Kobe on the 28th and should reach Hong Kong about September 2nd. The home- ward mall is forwarded by the Northern route from Vladivostock but no such Interruption has occurred. This route however gives a weekly instead of the normal bi-weekly service and the time of transit is several days longer.
The next mail for Europe via Siberia will be sent by the sa Athos II. on the 90th. This mail will proceed via Kobe, Tsuruga and Vladivostock.
