Two Bodies Found Last Night.

TWO STILL MISSING.

The bodies of two of the victims of the explosion and fire which oc- curred on the 8.8. Chip Shing yes-- terday morning, were recovered late last night in the flooded No. 2 hold, after pumping operations had been in progress for some hours.

It is authoritatively learned that two other men are missing.

The injured, who were detained! in the Kowloon Hospital, are now known to be Chau Ting (51), of (Shaukiwan, and Mok Chi (51), The first named is suffering from severe burns and shock and the latter from a fractured leg, but both are report- ed to be progressing favourably.

Pumping operations on the ship, which had to be partially flooded owing to the benzine cargo becom- ing ignited in the hold yesterday morning, were commenced at 8 p.m. last night, by the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd.

The cargo of benzine damaged by the fire is valued at $6,000, but is covered by insurance.
