To-day's Vital Match In C" Division.
LEAGUE TENNIS FIXTURES
The match was characterised by dour defence. The tackling of both sides, back and forward, was of the highest standard, especially in the scoreless second half, and while the crowd would have welcomed more spectacular bursts, it appreciated the magnificent efforts in defence. Tactics played a big part in Aus- tralia failing to do more than hold the Englishmen in the second spell. The vital match in to-day's England deserved the win..
