The Mixed Doubles Lawn Tennis League opened the 1932 season on the U.S.R.C. courts yesterday when the home team suc- ceeded in inflicting a heavy defeat on the Ladies' Recreation Club, thus repeating their success of last year. This League should have commenced a fortnight ago, but owing to adverse weather condi- tions only one match has so far been played.
