G. E. R. DIVETT HEADS GOAL-SCORING LIST WITH FRANCIS SECOND. ́
JATS UNDEFEATED
The Hong Kong Hockey Club first eleven.concluded their 1931-32 hockey sea- son yesterday afternoon on the U.S.R.C. ground, when they defeated the South Wales Borderers, who fielded ten men, by the odd goal in three.
The winners had matters much their own way, espe cially in the first half and, although their second goal, which gave them victory, was admittedly lucky, they fully deserved victory. Both defences were better than the op- posing forwards, Pole being very prominent for the S.W.B., while W. Reed, of the Club, was again very impressive with his clearances and accurate passing.

London, Yesterday. Following up their splendid vie tory against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday, New- castle to-day held Everton draw on the home ground. It was a ding-dong struggle in which the new Champions were perhaps n little unfortunate in not capturing both points.
The Newcastle relapse after their Cup victory seems to have had a short life and the team is again playing as well as ever.

Play was at last transferred to the other end, where Flynn brought off some fine saves. Passing Pole, who had the misfortune to slip and fall Evans, coming in from the
right, scored the Club's equaliser LAWN
with a fast shot.
Toward the end, resulting from
a meelee, Owen Davis scored the winning goal, with a shot which Flynn misjudged in attempting to kick the ball out.
Outstanding Players,
For the Club, Dand and the two Reeds worked hard in defence, while Woodward and Rodger were very reliable.
Outstanding players in the Bor- derers eleven, were Pole, Davies, Johnson and Martin.
