Examination Results. Our Matriculation results were satisfactory. We presented four- teen candidates, of whom six matri- culated and three others obtained the Senior Local Certificate. For the Junior Local thirty-two entered and five passed. During the past year special emphasis has been laid on Chinese and Mandarin in the upper classes, and it was gratify Ing to find that all the senior can- didates passed in both languages and eighty per cent. of the Juniors qualified in Chinese, one obtaining marks sufficient for Distinction..
