Mr. Bird, head watchman of Taikoo Docks, reports to the Police that yesterday. he sent to the Governmont Civil Hospital, a Chinese employee of the dockyard, named Cheung Sul-wong, age 18 years, of No. 33, Tai Shek Street, suffering from a severed right hand. He received his injury through the explosion of an im- provised pistol which he had made from a piece of old piping.
