CELLAR MEMORIAL SERVICE.
On the anniversary of his death, in France, a memorial service was held for the Hon. Roland Philipps, second son of Lord St. Davids, in the tiny cellar chapel of St. Francia in Roland House Scout Settlement, Stepney Green, East London.
The celebrant was the Rev. George Moore, Scout Commissioner for the City of London.
The chapel, in which stand the Hon: Roland Philipps' battlecross, sword and Scout Patrol Leader's flag is fast becoming a place of pilgrimage for Boy Scouts from all. parts of the world. Mr. Stanley Ince, the Warden, is an old friend of the Hon. Roland Philipps.
