"ANNUAL REPORT.
The annual report and balance sheet of the Kowloon Football Club for the year 1930-31 show that satisfactory progress has been made by the Club during that perlod.
The membership of the Club stands at 451 members; 52 absent members, 45 members joined.
During the football season under review both teams played excellent football, the 1st eleven finishing runners-up in the League and en- tered the semi-final of the Shield competition, being defeated by the aventual winners.
The second eleven WAS not, so fortunate, but hope that circumi- stances will be different during the coming season.
The teams at the conclusion of the last season were as follows:-

The Club House has been decorated throughout, and has had two new bays added with folding doors, making it more suitable for social functions, such as whist drives, smoking concerts, etc.
The tennis section has again de- monstrated its popularity and as many as 32 players have played in u single day's tournament. The courts have been well maintained during the year and repairs car- ried out where necessary.
Two American tournaments werė run during the season and proved to be highly popular.

Jock Creighton, well-known in the local ring, won his fight against Toshiyaki Yamanaka,' Japanese welter-weight of repute, technical knock in the second round, at the Hiblyn Civic Hall, Tokyo. This was his fourth fight in Japan and greatly enhanced his popularity.
Yamanaka was hopelessly out- elassed by the Scotsman and the referee did the right thing in step- ping the slaughter 55 seconds after

Yamanaka opened up the battle. Immediately the gong went, ho rushed across the ring and let loosa with two wild swings in the direction of Creighton's head. Both went wide. Jock retaliated, hitting Yamanaka on the jaw with a left and right hook, the Japan- ese went down for a short count.
Yamanaka forgot everything he knew about the art of defending himself and as a result was con- verted into an animated punch bag, He went down several times. Every now and again he tried his luck with vigorous wide open at- tacks. The end of the round found him in a groggy state with Creigh- ten ready to deliver the, knock out:
Creighton, was out to finish his man immediately the second round opened. Rushing from his corner he promptly floored Yamanaka with two terrific wallops in the stomach. The Japanese went down hurt but managed to get up after a count of five. He went down again almost immediately and it was at this stage that the referes intervened:
A crowd of over 4,000 were pre: Bent and only stopped, cheering Creighton when Yamanaka was able to understand their boos and jears.
