'It was obviously Mr. Proulx'e day. Gay Crusader, which most people know can run if it likes. was taken to the front in the penultimate event, and was not seriously challenged. The divi- dend was quite satisfactory.
Pacemaker, very aptly named, made the pace in the Union Plate, and came in to pay a pretty little dividend of $150 odd. Zorhan, who has been the subject of much cognition by students of form, literally walked away from the field in the second race to pay studious people $32.

Apollo, of course, did the neces- The Dynasty "crack," Hetman, was apparently the only pony to give it a run over a mile. Mr. Frost rode one of the finest races, one thinks, of his career, here.
