HONG KONG TIDE

The tide-table given below has been obtained by ald of the Tide-predict- ing Machine, which includes 40 com- ponents for the better pradiétion of tides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, takon at the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Dobesek during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.

The times and heights are given for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences beltg very small,

The times of high and low-water must not be considered to coincide with the times of alaak-water and change of current, the two phenomena being quite distinct.
