Repeated soakings' will gradually effect a complete cure. It is a mistake to wear woollen gloves over chilblained fingers. The finest wool irritatés tender, inflamed skin, but an excellent preventive and cure is. to wear a pair of old, soft wash- leather gloves inside a pair of wool. len gloves. It is common knowledge that Arctic explorers find relief from chilblains in the unbroken stage by applying to them a soothing mixture of whisky and soap.
