The Club played very mediocrely, al- though opposing a team obvious- ly unfamiliar with the finer arts of the game.
Weight Advantage Discounted.
The weight advantage held by the visitors was discounted by their lack of speed, and their only hope of saving their line was ig- nored that of "spoiling" play.

A Scrappy Game.

Mr.
G. F. Rees handled the game with admirable, tact, allowing several Infringements to go unobserved in the interests of the small gather ing of spectators.
The teams lined up as follows. Club-8. J. H. Fox; M. Johnson, M. G. Mills, J. S. Lee, A. R. S. Major: 1. H. M. Macredy, F. C. Black; W. F. Leckie, E. G. Dale, W. Hartley A. D. Coppin E. D. Beau mont, H. D. Clippendale, B. L. Stock, and W. F. Kerr.
