Lok Ma Chau Tragedy.
Mr. W. le Bart Sparrow, A.S.P., New Territories, giving evid ence in the Lok Ma Chau tragedy inquiry yesterday afternoon, said that he deferred rushing the station for fear of shooting innocent people.
When questioned on the same point, Mr. D. Burlingham, D.S.P., Kowloon, said that he was informed that there were no one alive in the station and therefore he decided that nothing would be gained by rushing the building. In any case he did not think they should go in without lights to show who they weße shooting at
