The Captain Superintendent of the Indian Mercantile Marine Training Ship Dufferin has issued the following statement:-
"On June 9, at the office of Mackenzie Messrs. Mackinnon and Co., the following eight cadets, S. N. Roy, S. K. Dutt Kumarhia, Ingat Singh, B. K. Suhgal, K. Lahiri, J. Jacob, A. Chakraverti, and P. N. Kohli, signed indentures for three years as cadets in. the British Indian; Steam Navigation Company. Two joined the steamer Garisoppa immediately, and the remain- der
will join *their ships before the end of the month. These cadets joined the training, ship Dufferin in December, 1927, and completed their training on June 14 this year.
