HONG KONG TIDE
The tide-table given below has been obtained by aid of the Tide-predict- ing Machine, which includes com- ponents for the batter prediction of Lides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken nt the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Doberck" during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.
The times and heights are given for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small.
The times of high and low-water minst not be considered to coincide with the times, of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomeria being quite dietinet.
