Two More Inspectors of Police..

Amongat passengers sailing for Home on the P. & O. s.s. Ranpura, to-morrow, will be Divisional In- spector E. Bloor of the Police Force, who, accompanied by Mrs. Bloor and family, is going on long leave.

Inspector Bloor, who is Officer in Charge of the West Point district, is the youngest Divisional In- spector in the Force. He joined as Police Constable on December 28, 1911, and recolved his appointment as Inspector on November 18, 1927.

An Alleged Confession. Mr. Francis D'Arcy Cooper, chairman of Lever Bros., said that at the beginning of last July Mr. Bell said to him:

"I have a confession to make that I have been dealing in cocoa, I am very much ashamed of my. self. 1. have never done such a thing before." He (Mr. Bell) said that he had received a cheque for £1,360 from the company's brokers, Mr. Cooper said that he asked, "Who was the tempter?" and Mr. Bell answered, "Knowing the other man, need you ask?"
