Wan-po, and asked him if he had attested his signature on power of attorney as a witness. Witness replied that he had not. The power of attorney was given to defendant by Ng Shing, who was the principal manager of the Po On Company.
Defendant: Was the power of attorney stamped with the Canton Government stamp?-No, the ori- ginal document bore no stamp.

Dr. Nunsen's death, which came unexpectedly while the explorer was talking to his daughter-in-law, has evoked world-wide expressions of condolence; and was commemorated at an extraordinary meeting of Parliament which was crowded to listen to an oration by Mr. Hambro, the President,' extrolling the rich scientific and humani- tarian services of Dr. Nansen.
