Speaking in the Japanese Diel yesterday on the subject of nuval disarmament, Baron Shidehara, Foreign Minister, said:--

The tide-table given below han been obtained by aid of the Tide-pre- dicting Machine, which includes 40 components for the better prediction of tides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observa tory under the direction of Dr. Doherck during the years 1897, 1848. and 1889.
The times and heights are givzo for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small:
