Hankow, Friday. Following the issuance on April 15 of the order of general offensive against the National forces, an- other contingent of the Kuomin chun under Pang Ping-hson, who are working southward on the Ping Han line, are advancing from Hsuehang. According to an un- į confirmed report, part of theso troops under Liu Yu-ming have captured Nanyang. Another body of Kuominchun under Tien Chin- kai and Chang Wai-si, after capturing Lucheng and Lushan, are said to be heading for the Ping- Hah line to link up with, other Kuominchun troops. The National forces under Chiang Ting-wen at Chokshan on the Plog-Han line are now engaging in a severe battle with the vanguards of the Kuomin- chun, who seem to have emerged from the Nanyang, area.
