"Cock Eyed World”—a
Great Success.
BOMBS FROM 'PLANES.
The all-talking Fox feature. "The Cock Eyed World." now showing at the Queen's Theatre is a film which is really worth accing, for it is full of mirth.
All through the film, which opens in Iussia, Pingg and Quirt are at logger- heads, although they were "puls" with different lens. Both always went after the same "skirt," and both usually failed.
Fun comes into the film with its tatt t swing when Lily Danita, as the captivating Marianna, appears on the scene, when the troops are stationed at Santiago.

The explanation, simple as it and secmed, did not ring true, the Magistrate asked for the other side of the picture.

A Letter From Lum Early on the morning of March 1, Chan came again and gave accused a letter from Lam, saying at the same time that Lum could not go. The letter asked accused to look after Lum's luggage, which Chan anid was downstairs. Accused sent There was a mendic-Chan down to who had apparently luggage whilst he dressed. Here a realistic war is shown, the dropping of bombs from the moving planes providing thrills and excitement.
How Plagg and Quirt attempt to outdo each other. when making love to Marianna is best left for the individual to acc.
Victor McLaglan, during the course of his arguments with Quirt, says that the next war will be in the air. "far what are we training thousands of men for the air, and why are so many Inventing polsonous gases?"

AT THE MAJESTIC THEATRE.
The attraction at the Majestie Theatre, Kowloon, for the last time to day is Patsy Ruth Miller in "What Every Girl Should Know." It is a pic ture full of merriment and "go."
Ian Keith plays opposite Miss Miller, and is supported by Carrol Nye, Mickey McBain, and Lillian Langdon.
As an added attraction, the Hawalian Serenaders give some sweet selections of Hawaiian music, interspersed with jazz song hits, as "Singing in the Kain" and "Bashful Baby," winding up with the popular "Alhoe Hawaii, Alboe."
"JOURNEY'S END.” Salisbury's Company to
Visit Hong Kong.
Mr. R. B. Salisbury's popular Company will open their short season at the Star Theatre Kowloon on Friday, April 11 with R. C. Sheriff's famous war play. "Jour- ney's End." Booking is now open at Moutrie's and the Star Theatre,
and intending patrons are advis- ed to book early.
From reports from India, the Straits, and Ceylon, the presenta tion of this world-famed play by Mr. Salisbury's Company is one of the finest pieces of acting seen out East. It cannot be wondered at, when the cast (which was specially selected out of many hundreds of applicants) was trained for five weeks in the Prince of Wales's Theatre, London, by the original producer, Mr. Tom Warner, who spent many patient and weary hours to make this production as near As possible to Mr. Sherriff's interpretation of the play.

away.
"Oh, I see what sort of a man you are. Four weeks' jail and $10 compensation for the ear that you have slit," said Mr. Lladsell.
What's in Evidence, Eight Hakkas then faced the Magistrate. They were charged with playing Pal Kau, which, be- ing a game of chance, came under the Police ban.
They vigorously denied that

The choice of a cooking stove is one of the most important decisions which the housewife has to make, since inadequate or unsatisfactory cooking arrangements will spoil the best and most carefully chosen food.
A modern gas cooker when properly used is by far the most satisfactory and economical cooking appliance now at the house- wife's disposal.
Out of roughly 10,000,000 individual homes in England (Many for`. removed from gas mains) nearly 7,000,000 use gas cookers. Most of the Leading hotels and other large caterers and nearly all the hospitals also use gas for cooking.
