Next month will see many American warships In the harbour of this Colony, The U.S.S. Black Hawk and three des- troyers will arrive here on April 2, and will romain for a week. Ca April 17, the 1.8.9, Jason and two mine- sweepers will arrive and about the first week in May, the U.S.S. Canopus and five submarines will visit this port.

Plana for two linera exceeding the Majestic in length and the Bremen In speed were filed with the United; States Shipping Board" by the United States Lines. The ships will be 962ft, long, and have a austained speed of 281⁄2 knots.
One of the points made by the United States Lines, which &re from the seeking financial aid Government, is that on account of their speed the vessels will be of potential value to the Navy.
