Death of Founder of Frothblowers
London, Yesterday.
The death has occurred of Sir Alfred Fripp, who has been prominent in con- nection with the "Frothblowers" move- ment.-Reuter.
The Inte Sir Alfred Fripp, who wes made a K.C.V.O. in 1906, and was Surgeon In Ordinary to the King, was torn in 1865. and his career has been a remarkable one.
He was founder of the organisation which, by the Institution of the "Frothblowers," combined fraternity (and beer) with subscriptions to charity..

MOTOR SPEED
Kaye Don's Attack on Record
London, Yesterday. Kaye Don has left Southampton aboard the Berengaria en route to Daytona Beach, Florida, to attempt the world's motor-car speed record with his enormous four thousand horse-power car "Silver Bullet," which he is of opinion is capable of between 240 and 250 miles an hour.
He hopes to lower Sir Henry Sograve's record.
The liner's wireless serial and signal halyards had to be removed before the car could be lowered on the deck.
Kaye Don's luggage includes nearly three tons of tyres and eight cases of spare parts-Reuter and British Wireless Service.
A 1lb of Devonshire cream has been sent to the Royal Alexandra Infirmary, Paisley, addressed to the matron and nursing staff from "an old mother from Devonshire."
