THE POLITICAL VIEW
Recent reports that the Chinese Government proposes to put the Cable Companies out of business at the end of this year have na- turally attracted attention. The fol- lowing statement has been issued by the thres foreign cable com- panies in Shanghai and enables the matter to be viewed in its proper proportione:
