STILL ON THE JOB IN NANKING-When rumours were current' that Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, Pre- sident of the National Government of China, owing to several revolts, was away from Nanking, Mr. George T. Kraiņukov, of Paramount News, was, by exclusive permission, with the President In Nanking. The above pictures were taken on December 12 by Mr. Krainukov, showing (left) "General Chiang's own," the 2nd Division going to Dr. Sun's Tomb, where President Chiang (who is seen on right) made a forceful speech to them. This was after the "Pukow Mutiny."
